years our family has had occasion to build or remodel more
than a few houses. We have found there are many qualified
contractors extremely capable of reading a plan, establishing
a schedule for the subcontractors,

came to Mike with a small scale challenge; a growing family
needing an accommodating home within the confines of 1200 square
feet. Mike designed and built us a charming and efficient home,

we sit at dinner parties and listen to people talk about
how frustrated they are with their contractor, we both
tend to nod sympathetically and then count our blessings.

is a constant communicator, always keeping us up to date
through email and phone calls so that we knew exactly
what to expect from the next week. He is extremely easy
to talk with, always personable and friendly, and he surrounds
himself with people who are hardworking and genuine. Having
people in your house for an extended period of time is
never an easy undertaking, but Michael and his crew were
prompt and kind throughout the entire process. They respected
us and the project at all times.
Probably
the best thing we learned throughout the process of
working with Michael was to simply "Trust Mike
Stanley." Michael always listened to our ideas,
made subtle suggestions, and walked us through the process
whenever we needed guidance. Most impressively, when
we came down to wavering between two ideas, Michael
would say, "trust me." We did. And he always
made good decisions that were in line with our taste
and budget. At all times, Michael operates as a true
professional, one who takes pride in his work, and ultimately
cultivates a relationship that will make him the contractor
